Why use pure, organic Argan Oil for your hair?
Argan oil is non-irritating and has a number of immediate benefits when used on hair and scalp. It is often used in its pure form for healthy, soft and shiny hair. It is an excellent agent for taming frizz and promoting gloss, as well as softer, more manageable hair. Vitamin E is extremely beneficial for hair, and is found in argan oil in high quantities. Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant, which helps boost cell function and promotes the growth of healthy, strong hair as opposed to thin, brittle hair. It can even undo some of the damage done through chemical treatments and dyes. Safa Argan Oil can also act as a moisturizer for the scalp to fight dandruff and dry scalp.

How Much Argan Oil Should You Use?
The amount needed varies from one person to another depending on hair type, condition, and length. It is an individual adjustment process. It might take a few applications to find the ideal amount for your hair. For beginners we recommend you experiment with small amounts first; 1-2 drops or less, and then increase gradually if needed. Our droppers have been carefully chosen to allow for dispensing of small amounts without any waste.

Styling your hair with Safa Argan Oil
Dry your wet clean hair with a towel until it is just damp. Apply the appropriate amount for your hair on your palms and rub it gently into your hair from ends to roots. Go very light on the roots and style as desired. You can apply Argan oil on dry hair as well. However, if you use heat styling tools to dry your hair, it is recommended to apply Safa Argan Oil first to protect it from thermal styling damage. Extra fine thin hair: To boost volume on fine thin hair without weighing it down, you must use Safa Argan Oil sparingly! Rub it on your face and body parts. Rub the leftovers on your hair by touching it lightly from ends to roots. Thick, curly hair/ Afro Hair: Apply generous amounts of Safa Argan Oil to enhance natural curls/coils. Take a section of hair and rub Safa Argan Oil into it starting at the ends. The amount of argan oil depends on the length and thickness of the hair section. Remember small sections are usually easier to work with and often curl better. Repeat process until all hair sections are done. Style as usual.

Using Safa Argan Oil as a Leave-In Conditioner
Safa Argan Oil makes an excellent chemical-free leave-in conditioner, which can also prolong and intensify its beneficial effects on hair. It is an ideal conditioning agent since it makes hair soft and sleek and adds extra shine. Many leave-in conditioners are greasy or make hair stringy or clumpy. Safa Argan oil is the exact opposite. When used in the correct quantity it absorbs easily and does not leave any greasy residue. All you need is a few drops of pure Safa argan oil. Rub the oil thoroughly between your palms and then comb your hands and fingers thoroughly through damp or towel-dried hair. Make sure to massage into the scalp with your fingertips to promote a healthy scalp and encourage hair growth.

Using Safa Argan Oil as an overnight treatment
Although a little goes a long way, an overnight treatment is a great way to maximize the effects of argan oil on hair. Using a larger quantity of argan oil as a hair mask means that as many of the nutrients as possible will be absorbed. This is a great treatment to use the night before a special event when you want your hair to be extra smooth, sleek and voluminous. This treatment is easy to do at home. Using a liberal amount of Safa Argan Oil, massage it into your scalp, hair and tips and then wrap your hair up in a towel to prevent it from transferring to your pillow. Leave the treatment in overnight (or for a few hours) and then wash the argan oil out the next morning with Safa Argan sulfate-free shampoo. Your hair will look sensational – and best of all, you won’t have exposed your hair to any of the chemicals present in many regular conditioning hair masks.

Argan oil as a Hair-Growth-Treatment
• Before using any treatments on your scalp you must always clean it thoroughly and make sure your pores are free from clogging impurities which inhibit the growth of new hair and constitute a barrier for the treatment to penetrate easily and deeply.
• Exfoliate your scalp.
• Wash your hair and dry it until damp with a soft towel
• Apply Argan oil on your finger tips and massage it gently in slow circular movements deeply into your scalp for 10-15 minutes
• Repeat 1-3 times a week -
Safa Argan Oil for your scalp
Argan oil has proven to be efficient in the management of several scalp conditions; such as seborrhea, dandruff, psoriasis, dermatitis, itchy scalp, and oily scalp. Always exfoliate your scalp to remove excess sebum, dead skin cells and other pore clogging impurities prior to applying Safa Argan Oil. Clogged pores can prevent argan oil from penetrating easily and deeply into your skin. Apply Safa Argan Oil on your fingertips and massage it into your scalp for 5 minutes. Repeat 2-3 times a week depending on how severe your scalp condition is. You can continue applications until your condition improves.
At Safa Argan we believe high-quality organic products can help people feel as beautiful outside as they do inside.

Thanks to high levels of vitamin E and essential fatty acids, Safa Argan Oil has extremely hydrating effects for dry skin, including soothing red patches, itching, and flakiness. Over time it helps balance under-production of sebum, which is a typical problem with dry skin. Sebum is the natural oil our skin produces to keep itself moist and healthy. Argan oil has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Both help reduce symptoms for a number of different inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.
-
For Aging Skin
Argan oil has long been used as an anti-aging treatment. The omega fatty acids in argan oil help to strengthen tissues in skin and therefore can aid in wrinkle prevention. A 2014 study found that women who applied argan oil improved their skin’s ability to retain water (a key to reducing signs of aging). Researchers further determined that it wasn’t just skin-deep, but actual deep cell-level change. A study published in Clinical Interventions in Aging in 2015 found that cosmetic argan oil led to a significant increase in elasticity of the skin. In addition, the Vitamin E in Safa Argan Oil can help decrease the appearance of age spots. Regardless of your skin condition, be sure to use a product with SPF to prevent further damage.
-
For Acne
Since argan oil regulates sebum production, which causes acne, its use can help reduce further breakouts. The vitamin E naturally present in the oil contains antioxidants that help remove damaged cells and help new ones grow, in turn helping to fade acne scars. It also promotes a smoother, calmer complexion. Apply Safa Argan Oil directly to your skin once to twice a day. You should start to see results within four weeks.
-
For Sensitive Skin
Since our argan oil is 100% natural and organic, it poses near no risk for even the most sensitive skin, although you should always test out new products on a small patch of skin first to ensure you are not allergic. Rich in antioxidants and vitamin E, Safa Argan Oil can help address skin problems, such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and rosacea that are commonly associated with sensitive skin.
-
For Oily Skin
People with oily skin often use moisturizer less because they believe they do not need it as much. They may also overuse astringent or alcohol to strip their faces of oil. Both of these actually tend to make the skin oilier because the body will try to compensate for its lack of moisture. Sebum is the natural oil our skin produces to waterproof, lubricate, and protect itself against environmental factors. By providing oily skin with sufficient moisture on a regular basis, it will produce less sebum over the course of time. You can see results within as little as four weeks.
-
Makeup Remover
Safa Argan Oil can also act as a safe and effective makeup remover. Because it is safe to come in contact with the eyes, argan oil can also be used in the removal of eye makeup, such as eyeliner and mascara without any discomfort. Simply add a few drops of our pure organic argan oil to a piece of cotton and wipe away any makeup.
-
For Scars and Stretchmarks
Stretch marks are formed when skin is stretched beyond its elasticity limits. This happens often during pregnancy, puberty or because of weight changes. To prevent the formation of stretch marks it is important to increase skin’s elasticity. Argan oil is rich in tocopherols and fatty acids such as linoleic acid. These highly potent components improve cell regeneration and protect our cells from free radical damage. By doing so, they increase our skin’s elasticity making it firm enough to resist excessive stretching. Argan oil also reduces the discoloration of skin caused by stretch marks. One 2016 study found that a cream containing argan oil also improved skin elasticity. This helped prevent and treat stretch marks early on. Apply Safa Argan Oil directly to the affected area at least twice per day. Do this as soon as you suspect you may see or start to see stretch marks for best results.
